Robert Scalia Jr. is the owner, creator and sole designer of Street Star Custom Clothing, and was born and raised in South Philadelphia. Bobby was always a fashion forward kind of guy, into the latest trends and up to date on the hottest new designers. It’s almost an accident, but somewhat a miracle that he began designing his own line of clothes. While working in his family’s screen printing store, people started coming in asking for custom made tees. More and more customers came, mostly through word of mouth; he created what they wanted and pretty much became a success overnight. The line just took off from there. He began experimenting with different techniques and designs, different garments and materials. Bobby is an independent freelance designer and a self-proclaimed “Fashion Engineer”- he designs, composes and arranges each piece and creates each elaborate Swarovski crystal designs by hand.

This vintage meets urban clothing line fuses together a medley of Swarovski crystals, tattoo art, embroidery, patch work and catchy sayings to make each garment unique. The exclusive collection melds together a combination of Hip Hop, Rock, Glam, Punk and Rock & Roll to put a couture twist on mainstream street wear. Street Star Custom Clothing incorporates a broad spectrum of apparel including tee shirts, hoodies, button ups, jackets, swimsuits and dresses. Street Star’s most distinctive designs are displayed on the Swarovski embellished military jackets and blazers for men; and on the bold and edgy dresses for women. There’s something for everyone’s price range as well, with prices ranging from $40 up to $500 for his one of a kind Military Jackets. Street Star’s unique range and depth offers something for everyone, but also something that no one else will be wearing, hence the slogan “We Design One of a Kind.” Street Star Custom Clothing is hand crafted and embellished with Genuine Swarovski crystals. Each garment pops with color and dazzles like diamonds and is customized to fit your own personal style. No two pieces are alike, as each stone and design is hand placed and not mass produced.

Born into a background saturated with art, culture & style, Almira welcomed her rich heritage into every aspect of her life.

A lion exemplifies a strong, independent and courageous spirit, which is everything Almira wants Léonché to be. For years, Almira has been designing international garments that exhibit fabrics from Africa and Europe. The company’s mission is dedicated to bringing new and creative ideas to the market place, by offering products that cater to women, men, and children, sizes 0 to full figured, heights short to tall. Léonché promises to be more than your average fashion label. Léonché wants to be your new standard!

Entrepreneurs Are Born Not Made, says the 22yr old fashion specialist from Washington, D.C. Emore’J Couture an artistic designer that has a true passion for eccentric and abstract wearable art is taking the fashion industry by storm. Emore’J was influenced to pursue the fashion design at the age of fifteen in his sophomore year of High School. EmoreíJ feels that he started off creating garments like any other urban designer, basic denim fabric, bleach, scissors and variety color paints were the 4 elements to the making of Emore’J Couture.

Emore’J ís first line of clothing (Lilí Boy Urban Wear) was started in Ballou Senior high school, the production of screen printed tops and hand painted jeans was a complete success with his school mates. The designer then decided to showcase his work in his very own fashion show showcase featuring friends from school and his neighborhood while marketing his clothing. The fashion show was a complete sold out success, which he then received the recognition from his school F.B.L.A (Future Business Leaders Of America) Department as showing proficient leadership and entrepreneurial skills.

As Emore’J progressed in the fashion industry he then began to have his clothing line featured in other fashion show productions. While traveling EmoreíJ was introduced to a new style of design, Fabrics and cultures; through inspiration in the year 2002 the designer revamped his companyís vision and clothing design as a whole.By the year 2003 Emore’J and his new Pop Art Couture Collections were featured in Prominent east coast productions such as DC-FASHION WEEK, MD-FASHION WEEK and GOLDEN SCISSOR AWARDS.

Having the opportunity to work with so many fashion show coordinators, producers, chorographers and stylist the designer decided to create his own company titled Emore’J Couture. He now produces his own events to showcase his yearly artistic creations as well as exhibit other new and established designers that are looking for an outlet to promote and vendor their creations.

Now in the year 2009 Emore’J is an established and steady rising Fashion Specialist offering Event Coordinating, Model Management, Wearable Art, Personal Styling and Production Management to various clients within the East and West coast region.
